SQUASH-TABLE QUEEN ACORN is absolutely one of the finest acorn squash. A squash that will produce loads of fruit on compact bush size plants with beautiful glossy gray-green leaves. It bears 1kg squash of high quality and flavor. Light orange colored flesh, fiber-less, thick & full of flavor. You just can’t beat a squash like this for space saving, high food producing an excellent nutritional value. Table Queen is a fantastic keeper in a dark cool place.
Sow seed directly into the garden. Plant seeds 12mm deep covering with fine soil. Plant in a sunny location in rich, well-drained soil. Keep fairly well watered & fertilize monthly, but avoid constant overwatering & continual use of high-nitrogen fertilizers. An outstanding easy to grow squash. For continued harvest, pick fruit regularly when young.
