Cucumis sativus
CUCUMBER-BUSH CROP requires about 2/3 less garden space than a vining type without sacrificing quality. The plant produces generous numbers of medium-sized, 15-20cm long fruits on dwarf bushy plants. Small straight, slicing cucumbers with a dark bluish-green rind. This variety performs well in containers and in small garden plots. An excellent variety for small gardens. Resistant to scab.
Sow seeds direct into well-prepared beds or pots with added compost. Soil must be 20 degrees or above for best germination results. Press 4 seeds into a hole and then later to 2 seedlings.
