Carota Sativa
CARROT-RAINBOW BLEND is a selection of 4 varieties including orange, purple (Cosmic purple), yellow (Solar yellow) and white (Luna white)Red, yellow, white and purple – are rainbow carrots the way of the future? Perhaps, but they could more accurately be called the carrots of the past because they have a long history. Purple & yellow carrots were grown as many as 1,000 years ago in Asia & Western Europe. Carrots taste pretty much the same, regardless of their color, & some taste even sweeter than a standard carrot.
Sow seed direct, keeping seeds moist, can cover with hessian or similar until germination, then uncover to let light in. Rotate crops to prevent disease build-up. Cleaned carrots store well in cool conditions. Sow spring, summer, and autumn, best not sown in heavy frost.

More About Us
ABSeeds is an Australian owned business trading under the umbrella of Direct Compost Solutions which is owned and managed by Victoria Brun.
We as a company endeavor to provide to the public, Organic, Old Fashioned, Heritage, and Open-pollinated seeds that have not been genetically modified.
We purchased the business in November 2018 and renamed it to ABSeeds (All ‘Bout Seeds) to make the title shorter and represent what we hope to achieve with this business in the years ahead.
Seeds that we can’t grow ourselves we will acquire from people who grow for us, or we may purchase seeds from reputable heritage seed companies.
