How to grow Habanero Yellow Chilli F1

  1. Soak seeds in warm water for 12–24 hours to speed up germination.  Or freeze for a few days to simulate a cold season.
  2. Sow seeds 0.5–1.0 cm (0.2–0.4 inches) deep in seedling trays filled with a well-draining seed-starting mix.
  3. Maintain soil temperature at 22–30°C (72–86°F) for optimal germination.
  4. Germination typically takes 7–14 days. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged during this period.
  5. Transplant seedlings when they are 6–8 weeks old or after they have at least 4–6 true leaves.
  6. Space plants 45–60 cm (18–24 inches) apart in rows spaced 60–90 cm (24–36 inches) apart.
  7. Use fertile, well-draining soil with a pH of 6.0–6.8. Add organic matter or compost before planting.
  8. Grow in full sun with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
  9. Ideal growing temperature: 20–35°C (68–95°F).
