Cucumis sativus
CUCUMBER-WHITE WONDER is an exceptionally crisp cucumber. Burpee introduced this now classic cucumber in 1893, after receiving it from a customer in western NY State.  It has been known by many names since then, including Albino, Ivory King, Jack Frost, Landreth’s White Slicing & White Albino. Pale ivory, the 15 to 20cm long and 5 to 7.5cm wide. Fruits have an exceptionally crisp texture, making for excellent fresh eating or tasty pickles. Produces high yields, even in high heat. Greenish-white in color they have a cylindrical shape with rounded ends & a nice mild taste.

Sow 2-3  seeds in clumps, later thin to 2 strongest seedlings. At 5 or 6 leaves, pinch out growing tips to advance side shoots. Keep well watered & prepare the soil with the complete fertilizer.

More About Us

ABSeeds is an Australian owned business trading under the umbrella of Direct Compost Solutions which is owned and managed by Victoria Brun.

We as a company endeavor to provide to the public, Organic, Old Fashioned, Heritage, and Open-pollinated seeds that have not been genetically modified.

We purchased the business in November 2018 and renamed it to ABSeeds (All ‘Bout Seeds) to make the title shorter and represent what we hope to achieve with this business in the years ahead.

Seeds that we can’t grow ourselves we will acquire from people who grow for us, or we may purchase seeds from reputable heritage seed companies.
