History of the white carrot is vague but its generally know to have existed throughout Europe prior to the 15th century possibly originating in Afghanistan and Iran. The orange carrot took over as the popular choice after the 15th century. The white carrot is used for animal fodder, and baby food to prevent the baby going orange from orange carrots.
Sow 1.5cm into light fluffy sandy loam soil 2 to 5cm apart. When plants are 10cm tall thin out 5 to 10cm apart. Water regularly and soak in 2.5cm of water once a week. Germinates is 14 to 21 days. Matures in 75 days. Keep weeds away while growing.
