Capsicum annuum
Red Cherry Sweet capsicum, small heart-shaped fruits 3cm in diameter, slightly tapered & have thick walls. They are delicious, crunchy sweet & juicy all at once, either red or green go great in salads. Also an excellent capsicum for pickling. Very productive 85 days. They are also suitable to be pickled.
Sow seed directly in the garden in a sunny location. When seedlings are 5cm high, thin/transplant to 45 – 60cm apart. Harvest when plants are yellow for young fruit or for a fully ripe pick when bright red. Water regularly. Plant in well-drained soil & feed lightly every 4 weeks.
