Coriandrum sativum
HERB-CORIANDER-DELFINO is slightly different to the flat leaf variety. The aromatic feathery “cut leaf” style leaves, produce two different flavours like a parsley and citrus flavour. Grown easily in full sun it has a higher, denser yield than flat leaf coriander and looks great as a border plant or in a pot plant. It works well in most dishes especially salsa, and tends to be slower to bolt but will bolt if temperature is too hot. Produces small white flowers that can also be added to salads. Great as a garnish.

The smaller seeds can be crushed to release the citrus flavour for cooking Plant after the last frost. Grows 45 to 50 cm tall. Space 22 to 30 cm apart. Harvest 50 to 60 days. Do not transplant. Keep moist but not overwater. Don’t add extra nitrogen.

We purchased the business in November 2018 and renamed it to ABSeeds (All ‘Bout Seeds) to make the title shorter and represent what we hope to achieve with this business in the years ahead.

Seeds that we can’t grow ourselves we will acquire from people who grow for us, or we may purchase seeds from reputable heritage seed companies.
