Basil Genovese is an annual native to India, Africa & Asia. A frost tender low-growing herb. The plant has a strong, pungent sweet smell. Can be grown inside in pots in winter. As the plant develops, pinch out the top to encourage bushy growth. Pick off flowers to encourage more growth. One of the most popular herbs. Of all the basils to grow, Basil Genovese is one of the best.
