Holy Basil appreciates full sun but will tolerate filtered light and partial shade. Like other basils, it needs well-drained soil. Holy Basil herb is an excellent medicinal herb. It has been revered in India as a sacred plant for thousands of years & as a healing balm for body, mind and spirit.
