BEAN-RED DRAGON-SNAKE-CLIMBER produces 60 – 70cm long, dark green slender pods with a small red-brown tip; the seed is reddish coloured. Highly productive & can be picked for approx. 4 weeks. Snake beans are very nutritious & have a slightly sweet flavour & crunchy texture; use them steamed, in stir-fries or curries. Snake bean is resistant to Bean Fly & Rust. Sow all year round in tropical and frost-free areas. Elsewhere sow from spring to early summer.
