EGGPLANT – ITALIAN LONG PURPLE

EGGPLANT – ITALIAN LONG PURPLE has with dark purple coloring produces large fruits with fine flavour. Vigorous growth with heavy crops. Best used before they are 20-25cm long. Plant can grow to 60-75cm and produce more than 8 eggplants.

Plant during spring to early summer. Sow thinly 5mm deep either direct where they are to grow or into a tray of seed raising mixture. Keep soil well-drained. Prefers the soil rich in organic matter. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days.12-16 weeks to harvest and yields 3.5kg per plant.
