FRUIT-KLONDIKE-WATERMELON The perfect melon, with an exceptionally sweet flavor that tops taste tests. Vigorous, high-performance, bred by Mr. Porter of California in the early 1900s.  A great heirloom with green-striped rind and bright red, sweet flesh. Resists sunburn and disease. 12 – 13 kg. The rind is thin like many heirloom watermelons, but tough. Klondike is perfect for the home gardener. Disease Resistant: Fusarium and Anthracnose.
Sow either direct in harvesting position or in seed boxes or punnets and plant them out when strong enough.
