Viola tricolor

An old-fashioned ‘miniature pansy’ with delicate tricolor faces of purple, yellow & cream. They are delightful in the front of borders, along paths or in baskets and containers. Grows well in sun or partial shade, plant in spring.
Sow in a seedbed directly, just cover the seed and keep moist at 15-20°C. Thin (prick out) to further pots or trays or hanging baskets when seedlings have developed 2-4 leaves.
