FLOWER – CANTERBURY BELLS
Think of a tranquil cottage garden – think of Canterbury Bells with their beautiful semi-double blooms in pink white and blue. A favorite producing large spikes of attractive bell-like flowers in a mix of colors. Very good as a cut flower, up to 75cm. Good for borders & in informal gardens. This plant is an excellent backdrop for your shorter annuals & perennials.
Plant after last frost or early Autumn. Sow the fine seeds thinly in trays or pots in good compost. Place in a cold frame or unheated glasshouse. Protect from slugs especially during the winter. Deadhead to prolong the flowering period.
