Capsicum annuum
CAPSICUM-CAL WONDER (YOLO) is a sweet lovely capsicum that gives a harvest of large fruit of uniform shape, weight approximately 200-300g. As it matures the green fruit changes to bright red. Tasty, crunchy flesh is ideal in salads, good for stuffing. In Yolo Wonder, the fruit contains more vitamin C than oranges. The bushes themselves are compact & well-suited for growing in containers at home, as well as for open ground & greenhouses. Good resistance to disease & calcium deficiency. Named after Yolo County California.
Use liquid fertilizer once germinated & transplant when all danger of frost has passed & the soil is warm. Space plants 40-60 cm apart in full sun, in rich soil & stake. Plants generally, reach about 60cm in height. Keep well fertilized & watered. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers as these will promote leaf growth at the expense of fruit. Pick early fruit to encourage more fruiting. In fruit fly areas, the fruit should be protected by bagging.

More About Us
ABSeeds is an Australian owned business trading under the umbrella of Direct Compost Solutions which is owned and managed by Victoria Brun.
We as a company endeavor to provide to the public, Organic, Old Fashioned, Heritage, and Open-pollinated seeds that have not been genetically modified.
We purchased the business in November 2018 and renamed it to ABSeeds (All ‘Bout Seeds) to make the title shorter and represent what we hope to achieve with this business in the years ahead.
Seeds that we can’t grow ourselves we will acquire from people who grow for us, or we may purchase seeds from reputable heritage seed companies.
