PUMPKIN-JAP has excellent firm bright yellow flesh. Delicious and tasty round pumpkins with excellent flavor and good storage ability. Plants perform well in poorer soils as they prefer lower nutrient levels than most vegetable crops

Plant seeds in hills sowing seeds 10cm apart. Cover seed with 12mm of fine soil well firmed down. When new plants are about 10cm tall carefully thin or transplant to 3 healthiest plants per hill. Plant in Spring.

Any seeds IMPORTED from overseas must be TREATED now according to the new bio-security law. Thus this batch of Jap pumpkins is treated. If you save the seeds and replant the following year these seeds are considered NOT TREATED.
