Papaver paeoniflorum
FLOWER-POPPY-PEONY is a fast growing annual to 80cm, producing large round double pink blooms to 10cm & large dissected leaves. A very showy display throughout Spring. You will want this Poppy for a delightful display in your garden! These large flowers form on long, sturdy stems they make your garden look great, cut them often to enjoy beautiful arrangements for indoors! The Peony Poppy plant has blue-green foliage that is intense & makes a complementary backdrop for the showy blooms. When the flowers are done blooming, seed pods are formed, & they are highly prized as an everlasting, keeping their color & shape for dried arrangements.

Sow seeds in spring. Loosen the soil up in the area that you are going to be planting your seeds. It’s important to lightly water them every 3-5 days. After the shoots have come through thin them out, they will not flower well if this process is skipped. Once they are 5cm or so tall, move them to their final resting place. When they start to flower, remove buds to ensure that they keep producing blooms. In summer, let the seed pods develop to harvest seeds for the next season.

More About Us

ABSeeds is an Australian owned business trading under the umbrella of Direct Compost Solutions which is owned and managed by Victoria Brun.

We as a company endeavor to provide to the public, Organic, Old Fashioned, Heritage, and Open-pollinated seeds that have not been genetically modified.

We purchased the business in November 2018 and renamed it to ABSeeds (All ‘Bout Seeds) to make the title shorter and represent what we hope to achieve with this business in the years ahead.

Seeds that we can’t grow ourselves we will acquire from people who grow for us, or we may purchase seeds from reputable heritage seed companies.
